Country Garden

I haven't had time to design recently so I'm trying to post some SNL kits that I made last year.  This was the theme for last July, Country Garden.  I took some photos of plants in my garden and turned it into a kit.  It has a complete alpha made out of flowers.

I had meant to post this kit sooner, but I forgot.  Hopefully people can use it next year.  It is one I made for SNL last year.

Show the Love Blog Train

I haven't done a blog train is a really long time so I thought I would participate in the Starving Artist's Blog Train: Show the Love.  I'm certainly starving, at least.  This is a full-size kit containing:

  • 10 papers
  • 3 frames
  • 3 bows
  • 4 buttons
  • 4 paperclips
  • 4 sequins
  • 1 wire
  • 1 confetti heart scatter
  • 2 vellum hearts
  • 3 conversation heart alphas
  • 1 heart overlay

I'm sorry for the delay in posting links.  Blogger threw an error when I tried to put in the links and then my cold medication kicked in (yes, I'm sick) and I passed out.  There are two links, one for most of the kit and one for the alphas (since some people only want my alphas).

Best of Times

Here is my re-worked Best of Times kit.  I made the original kit for SNL.  It was rather incomplete, so I tried over the last few months to fill it out.  I hope that people find it useful.

The Anti-Doodle

This was my contribution to SNL62.  The theme was Art Journal.  I haven't had much time to scrap lately because of the holidays and work, so I thought I would share something old.  This kit comes with:
  • 6 papers
  • 1 paint splotched overlay
  • 1 doodled frame
  • 1 doodled circle
  • 5 doodle elements
The doodles are actually black so that they can be used anywhere.  I re-colored them for the preview.

Purple Pansy

The theme for SNL61 was Berry Blossoms.  I ended up with pansies and no berries.  This is the kit that I made for SNL61.  It comes with:

  • 2 papers
  • 1 frame
  • 3 bows
  • 2 journalling tags
  • 4 pansy flowers
  • 3 leaves
  • 1 glitter sprinkle
  • 2 overlays
  • 1 pansy bouquet cluster

There is actually 2 more elements included in this kit than I had in my original submission to SNL because I thought of the additional elements afterwards.

S.W.A.K.

The Sealed With a Kiss blog train takes off today.  Thankfully, I finished this kit before my RAM died.  I used heart templates by Delicious Scraps and scripts by PSPgirl in my kit.  I was testing some scripts for PSPgirl and decided the results looked nice enough to keep, so I added them to this kit.  My part of the train is a full-size kit containing:

  • 7 papers
  • 2 journalling tags
  • 1 bow
  • 3 glitter lips
  • 1 round frame
  • 1 chain of hearts
  • 1 flower
  • 5 hearts
  • 1 wordart
  • 4 alphas

Frayed and Fabulous

This is the kit that I made for Saturday Night Live #55 called Frayed and Fabulous.  The theme was Teen Grunge and the focus element was fringe.  The items are full-size; for example, the notebook paper is 3600 x 3600 but everything is 200 dpi.  I've debated redoing the doodles as I'm not completely happy with them, but then I realized that I'll never get around to it.  This kit comes with:

  • 1 notebook paper
  • 1 crumpled paper
  • 1 fringed jean frame
  • 1 fringed jean tag
  • 1 heart doodle
  • 1 star doodle
  • 1 glitter lips
  • 1 alpha

Holiday Train

This is my kit for the Holiday Train which is brought to you by the "Starving Artist Designers."  I don't know if you would consider me a starving artist, since I do not sell at any store.  Or, perhaps I am perpetually starving since I don't generate any income.  There are a lot of participants for this train.  Visit the Holiday Train blog for all the links to the other participants.

There will be matching alphas to go with this kit.  They will be available as part of my Alpha Advent Calendar giveaway.

This kit comes with:
  • 2 papers
  • 3 seamless glitter tiles
  • 2 tags
  • 1 ribbon
  • 2 tinsel
  • 3 glitter snowflakes
  • 2 glitter star brads
  • 1 Christmas tree
  • 7 ornaments
  • 1 word art

Urban Grunge

I decided to try to be more active at Digital Scrapbooking Place last month.  I took part in this sub-group there called Saturday Night Live where people get together and make a group kit.  The theme for this month is Grunge.  Here is the preview for the kit that I made for SNL.  I don't know if I'm allowed to share the kit outside of the group, but I thought my elements were pretty cohesive and wanted to share the preview with everyone.  If I'm allowed to share the kit outside of the group, I will post a link to the kit in this post.

Here are the links to the kit as we've moved on to the next challenge.

Fall is in the Air Blog Train

The Scrap Stuff with PSP and PS group is having a blog train.  It is our first one in a long time.  The theme is Fall is in the Air.  I made a mini-kit as my contribution.  I decided to not make every element in every color, but instead just make one element of each type.

This kit comes with:

  • 2 papers
  • 1 ribbon
  • 1 bow
  • 2 binder clips
  • 1 leaf frame
  • 1 acorn brad
  • 1 flower
  • 1 alpha
Since 4shared was hacked on Saturday, I am using FileSavr to host this file.  Every time I tried to go to 4shared Saturday afternoon, I would be sent to GoDaddy.com.  By the time everyone was being sent to hacked site with the Morocco lover, I had stopped trying to connect.  While DNS for 4shared appeared to be restored Sunday morning, I could not upload files to the site.  So, I decided to go with FileSavr.  Please leave any comments here on the blog.

Feel the Music Blog Train

The kit contains:

7 papers
6 textured seamless tiles
5 tags
4 brads
3 Merry Melodies frames
3 plain frames
2 records
1 musical staff element
5 word art: Merry Melodies, Silly Symphony, The Sound of Music, Make Mine Music and Feel the Music
3 complete alphas with upper and lower case

Like the add-on that I offered with the Take Me Out to the Ball Game Blog Train, I have decided to offer customized word art. The word art will look like the pre-train freebie that I offered. However, I had not anticipated the large response that I received last time. Therefore, I am only going to make customized word art for five people. If you are interested in a customized piece of word art to coordinate with this kit, please leave a comment with your name or short phrase (5 words or less) and an email where I can contact you if you happen to be one of the lucky five. This offer is valid until May 23, 2009 when I will randomly choose 5 people. To cover all my bases, if you should happen to be desperate for a piece of customized word art to match this kit and don't want to trust in luck, then you may donate to my attempt to acquire the Filter Forge plugin. I will make a piece of customized word art for anyone who wishes to donate. Please only donate if you want to. This is not a solicitation. I am not expecting donations.

If you get lost, you can always return to the station for the entire list.
